The first congress of AJE in Monforte de Lemos extols the entrepreneurial level of the region.
The Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE) of Lugo held its first congress in Monforte de Lemos on December 12th; where the Regional Minister of Economy, Francisco Conde, extolled the entrepreneurial potential of the region and highlighted some of the advantages that business activity can bring to a territory. Five companies from the city participated in the event.
One of those responsible was Gonzalo López González, manager of the historic Calzados Losal factory. Also there was Cándida Rodríguez, promoter of the riding school Finca El Carmen; Xosé García, from the innovative livestock that produces organic products Casa da Fonte; Brais Moure, who has set up an IT development company in his own home; and Iván Patiño, member of the audiovisual production company Amanita Estudio.
Many of the projects that have been launched in the city of Cabe in recent times have been through the business plan co working, which instructs people who want to move forward a company about how to do it successfully. Some of these initiatives have encompassed the agri-food, wine and tourism sectors.
Franscisco Conde pointed out the protagonism of entrepreneurs when it comes to carrying out important tasks such as energizing the economy, establishing a population or creating jobs. The conselleiro was accompanied during the session by the president of AJE Lugo, Mauricio Repetto Morbán; the mayor of Monforte, José Tomé; the provincial deputy of economic and social promotion, Sonsoles López Izquierdo; and the sub-delegation of the Government in Lugo; Isabel Rodríguez.
During his speech, Lopez Izquierdo highlighted the commitment of the council “with the Lugo business fabric” and announced that in the current mandate, the government of socialist Darío Campos “invested 28 million to hire 2,000 Lugo unemployed.”
FUTURE.
Monforte and O Saviñao are two of Lugo’s 19 city councils that have taken advantage of the Business Implementation Law, which came into force only a year ago and which gives them the category of entrepreneurial municipality.
One of the objectives of the congress held in Monforte de Lemos was precisely to motivate future entrepreneurs to carry out their business ideas, as well as show how to overcome adversity.
