The shoemaker of the war in Cuba.

The newspaper La Voz de Galicia makes a report about Calzados Losal, a family
business with 120 years dedicated to the handmade manufacture of footwear in the
Galician city of Monforte de Lemos (Lugo – Spain).

The report made by the newspaper focuses on the 5 family generations, from the
beginning 120 years ago to the present.
It also focuses on the peculiar manufacturing that Calzados Losal has been using
during all these years; a manufacturing known as Goodyear Welted. A 100%
handmade and very laborious process, since each shoe requires a total of 250 different
steps.

In the last section of the report, an interview is made where important points about the
future of the company are discussed; like the exports that this family business is
carrying out.
